Proceedings of the National Seminar on Civil Engineering (Senats) 1 Year 2015

Technology as a product of science is created to improve human welfare. However, in theapplication and or further development can not be denied that the availability of natural resources, environmental conditions and the negative impact of the application of a technology often overlooked. This condition, to a certain extent, can reduce the intended benefits or even endanger the sustainability of the existence of the earth and life. Awaren of this issue, push scientist, engineer and practitioners in various fields, including in the field of civil engineering which is closely related to the construction industry, to develop environmentally friendly technologies in order to ensure the sustainability of the earth and its contents. To support this perspective, on Saturday, April 25, 2015, Civil Engineering Subject, Post Graduate Program, University of Udayana organized a National Seminar on Civil Engineering (Senats) 1 with the theme "Application and Development of Green Technology in the Field of Civil Engineering" in Inna Grand Bali Beach, Sanur, Bali.

This daily activities are intended as one of a communication place and exchange information for scientists, engineer, students and practitioners who have attention and or experience in the field of environmental friendly technologies. A total of 85 (eighty-five) papers presented on the Senats 1 which includes areas of expertise: Structures and Materials, Geotechnical, Project Management and Construction Engineering, Transport, Water Resources and Environment. Event activities are divided into two phases. The first phase, from morning to afternoon, a session for the presentation of papers on the Keynote Speaker, while the second phase, from noon until evening, is used for explaination and discussion for participants speakers.
