Universitas Udayana Hosts The 4th Science and Technology International Conference (STIC) 2025
Denpasar — The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Universitas Udayana once again held The 4th Science and Technology International Conference (STIC) 2025, a two-day event taking place on October 27–28, 2025, at Hotel Grand Santhi, Denpasar. Now in its fourth year, the international conference carries the theme “Building Sustainable Societies through Scientific and Technological Advancements.”
Initiated by FMIPA Universitas Udayana, this conference serves as a platform for researchers, academics, and professionals from various countries to disseminate their research findings, exchange ideas, and establish global collaborations in the fields of science and technology. This year, STIC 2025 features two keynote speakers and six invited speakers from leading institutions in Taiwan, Indonesia, France, India, China, and South Africa. The conference is conducted in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online sessions.
In his opening remarks, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Universitas Udayana, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D., expressed his appreciation to the entire organizing committee for their hard work and dedication in ensuring the success of this annual international conference.
“This conference reflects our shared commitment to advancing scientific knowledge, driving innovation, and strengthening cross-disciplinary and international collaboration,”
said the Vice Rector.
He further encouraged all participants to strengthen international cooperation, emphasizing that collaboration is the key to scientific progress.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., stated that the conference has grown into a significant international academic forum.
“We are very grateful for the successful organization of the fourth STIC. This conference provides an essential platform for scientists to exchange ideas and innovations in science and technology. I believe this forum will generate new insights and breakthroughs that support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and bring positive change for the future,”
she remarked.
The Chair of the STIC 2025 Committee, I G.N. Lanang Wijayakusuma, S.Si., M.Kom., noted that this conference has become an annual FMIPA event that continues to evolve into an international scientific platform.
“STIC 2025 serves as a space for researchers, practitioners, and students from around the world to share innovative ideas and findings in addressing global challenges in science, technology, and human well-being,”
he explained.
The STIC 2025 program includes plenary sessions, parallel presentations, and interactive discussions. All participant research abstracts have been compiled into the STIC 2025 Abstract and Program Book, which will be available online on the official conference website.
With the successful organization of STIC for the fourth consecutive year, Universitas Udayana reaffirms its commitment to fostering innovation and cross-disciplinary research collaboration in pursuit of a sustainable, knowledge-driven society.
