PRASI Team from Universitas Udayana Advances to the Final Round of KMI Expo XVI 2025

Another proud achievement has been attained by students of Universitas Udayana. The Entrepreneurial Student Development Program (P2MW) team, consisting of students from the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics and Business, known as the PRASI Team, has successfully advanced to the final round of the Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship (KMI) Expo XVI 2025, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek RI). This milestone marks a historic moment as it is the first time the PRASI Team has reached the final stage of this prestigious national competition.

The PRASI Team developed a Balinese souvenir product made from lontar palm leaves, featuring “Prasi”, a traditional Balinese art form of painting on lontar leaves — a rich cultural heritage of Bali. Through creative innovation, the team produces various handcrafted items such as six-leaf prasi paintings, ten-leaf prasi paintings, framed prasi artworks, and prasi keychains. Each product is meticulously handmade with fine detail and can be customized according to customer preferences, both in design and inscription.

This innovation not only serves as an effort to preserve local culture but also aims to universalize Balinese art, making it more accessible and appealing to a broader audience, including domestic and international tourists. Through this approach, the PRASI Team is committed to transforming lontar art into a high-value creative industry with global competitiveness.

The PRASI Team consists of:

  • Putu Darmika Susilawati (Faculty of Law, 2022) – Team Leader, responsible for directing overall business strategy, ensuring that the vision and mission are achieved, and coordinating all divisions to work synergistically.

  • I Putu Rama Yatranajaya (Faculty of Law, 2024) – Chief Operating Officer, ensuring that the production process runs efficiently, coordinating inter-division workflow, and maintaining consistent product quality.

  • Pengakan Nyoman Arta Wibawa (Faculty of Law, 2024) – Chief Human & Risk Officer, managing human resources and identifying as well as mitigating potential business risks.

  • I Wayan Devabhrata (Faculty of Law, 2024) – Chief Marketing Officer, focusing on marketing strategy and product branding, designing creative promotions, managing social media, and expanding sales networks.

  • Ni Wayan Nia (Faculty of Economics and Business, 2023) – Chief Financial Officer, in charge of financial management and budgeting, from transaction recording and production cost calculation to financial reporting and business sustainability planning.

The team is guided by Bima Kumara Dwi Atmaja, S.H., M.H., who serves as their faculty advisor. They will showcase and present their products at the KMI Expo XVI 2025, scheduled to take place on November 18–21, 2025, at Universitas Tidar, Magelang, Central Java.

The PRASI Team’s success in reaching the final stage is the result of consistency, perseverance, and entrepreneurial spirit that they have cultivated since the previous year. After receiving P2MW funding in 2024, the team has demonstrated significant business growth with increasingly innovative and sustainable products.

Even more impressively, the PRASI Team is the only representative from Universitas Udayana to advance to this year’s final round. As they prepare intensively with their faculty advisor for the upcoming competition, the team aspires to deliver their best performance and bring pride to Universitas Udayana by winning the KMI Award 2025 in Magelang.
