KemenPANRB Team Visits FEB Udayana University to Evaluate the Integrity Zone Toward WBK; Expected to Become a Role Model for All Work Units at Unud
Jimbaran — The Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (FEB Unud), received a visit from the Evaluation Team of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB) along with representatives from the Bureau of Organization and Governance of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in the framework of the Integrity Zone (ZI) Evaluation toward achieving the Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Zone (WBBM). The evaluation took place at the FEB Dean’s Building, Jimbaran Campus, on Thursday (October 2, 2025). The event, held in the Leadership Meeting Room, was attended by the Rector, Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance, the Dean and Vice Deans, Chair and Secretary of the Faculty Senate, Chairs and Secretaries of Commissions, Study Program Coordinators, IBSN Program Coordinators, Heads of Business Units, Unit Coordinators, Administrative Coordinators, Sub-Coordinators, faculty and staff representatives, as well as the FEB Integrity Zone Development Team.
In his remarks, Rector of Udayana University, Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana, emphasized that Udayana University is fully committed to implementing university governance that is accountable, transparent, and highly principled in integrity. He stated that efforts to establish an Integrity Zone are part of the university’s strategic steps to enhance public trust in higher education institutions while addressing the current demands of bureaucratic reform.
“We understand that achieving WBK and WBBM is not merely an administrative accomplishment but a work culture that must be instilled at every level. As one of the strategic faculties within Udayana University, the Faculty of Economics and Business has been encouraged from the beginning to become a role model in applying the principles of integrity, service, and quality-oriented public service,” said Prof. Sudarsana.
The Rector also expressed appreciation to the Evaluation Team from KemenPANRB for their presence in conducting the evaluation and providing guidance and direction. Their visit, he noted, is essential to review and validate what has been presented previously during the preliminary assessment.
“We hope that our colleagues at the Faculty of Economics and Business can provide comprehensive data and information to the Evaluation Team as material for the upcoming panel discussion, ensuring that FEB Unud truly deserves the best recognition,” he added.
Furthermore, the Rector extended his appreciation to the entire academic community of FEB Unud for their dedication and hard work in preparing and refining processes within the faculty. He noted that this has been an extraordinary effort—not only in preparing documentation but also in improving the entire system across all lines within FEB. Collective commitment, discipline, and a strong culture of integrity, he emphasized, must be continuously maintained. The Rector also expressed hope that the good practices implemented in FEB could be adopted by other units across Udayana University, as outlined in the integrity pact signed by all university units.
Meanwhile, a representative from the Evaluation Team stated that their visit aimed to further explore the development of the Integrity Zone at FEB Unud, following the initial virtual assessment conducted earlier. The team requested that technical details of the activities and improvements already implemented be presented, as they would directly observe the operational systems and their impacts. The evaluators also emphasized the importance of gathering as much information as possible regarding the ZI development at FEB Unud as a reference for the national evaluation panel in determining eligibility for the Integrity Zone recognition.
