Various Competitions and Entertainment Enliven Udayana University's 63rd Anniversary

Jimbaran – Udayana University held a Family Gathering event on Friday (September 26, 2025) at the Rectorate Area and Widya Sabha Auditorium, Jimbaran Campus, as part of the celebration series for the university’s 63rd Anniversary. The event brought together lecturers, administrative staff, students, and international students in a spirit of unity and festivity.

Rector of Udayana University, Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana, explained that the aim of the event was to strengthen the sense of togetherness among members of the academic community through a variety of activities, including a morning walk, group exercise, competitions, and various entertainment performances. He expressed hope that the 63rd Anniversary would serve as a moment of reflection for the continued advancement of Udayana University in facing future challenges.

“We hope this anniversary serves as a shared reflection. Of course, there is still much to improve and prepare for in facing future challenges. Let’s stay motivated — starting from this 63rd year, we move forward together to build our institution, Udayana University,” said the Rector.

The event was also attended by Udayana University’s partner organizations, such as Bank BPD Bali, which contributed CSR support in the form of scholarships and rewards. The Rector extended his gratitude to all parties and partners, expressing hope that these collaborations would continue to grow stronger in the future.

The Rector also praised the academic community for their enthusiastic participation in the various fun competitions during the family event, including the nail-in-bottle race, balloon relay, sack race, tug-of-war, flower arranging contest, gebogan (traditional Balinese offering) competition, and penjor (decorative bamboo pole) competition.

In addition, he acknowledged the winners of the PORSENI (Sports and Arts Week) competitions held in celebration of the anniversary, in sports such as billiards, chess, basketball, and badminton.

As a demonstration of Udayana University’s social responsibility, the event also included the distribution of flood disaster relief donations to affected members of the academic community.

The celebration concluded with the grand door prize drawing, awarding a brand-new electric motorcycle to one lucky member of the academic community.
