Udayana University Welcomes a Visit from Sojo University

Jimbaran — Udayana University (Unud) received a visit from a delegation of Sojo University, Japan, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the Jimbaran Campus. The visit aimed to strengthen the collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in the fields of biology and environmental science, and to discuss the extension of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Udayana University and Sojo University.

The Sojo University delegation was welcomed by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes. Also present at the event were the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), the Coordinators of the Master’s and Doctoral Environmental Science Programs, and the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Biology Program.

This visit served as an important momentum to strengthen synergy in the development of research and education, especially on environmental and biological issues involving teams from Sojo University and relevant faculties and graduate programs at Udayana University.

During the meeting, both parties also discussed plans to extend the cooperation that had been established over the past five years and will be renewed to support the continuation of various joint programs.
