Denpasar – Udayana University, through the Reasoning and Creativity Unit of the Student Affairs Bureau, held a Perception Alignment Meeting for the Implementation of the 2025 PKM Funding Program at the Nusantara Room, Agrocomplex Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, on Wednesday (July 9, 2025).
The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, the Secretary of USCC, the Head and Secretary of the Reasoning and Creativity Unit, PKM mentors, PKM supervising lecturers, and student participants whose proposals have successfully secured funding for 2025. This year, 17 student groups from Udayana University were declared recipients of funding for the Student Creativity Program (PKM) by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology.

In his remarks, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, congratulated and expressed his appreciation to the 17 student groups who successfully obtained funding, recognizing it as the result of hard work, perseverance, and extraordinary collaboration between students and their supervising lecturers. Of the 17 groups, he noted with pride that they represent a diverse range of PKM schemes: 8 in PKM-Exact Research (PKM-RE), 2 in PKM-Community Service (PKM-PM), 3 in PKM-Creative Initiatives (PKM-KC), 2 in PKM-Entrepreneurship (PKM-K), and 2 in PKM-Social and Humanities Research (PKM-RSH).

“This diversity shows that Udayana University excels not only academically but also in creativity, innovation, and social awareness,” said the Vice Rector.

He further emphasized that this activity aims to align visions and perceptions to implement the PKM program responsibly, professionally, and in accordance with the Ministry's guidelines. Every stage from fund disbursement, program execution, monitoring and evaluation, to the final reporting must be carried out with integrity and accountability.

“I believe that with a spirit of mutual cooperation, open communication, and shared commitment, we will achieve success not only at the funding level but also in the 2025 PIMNAS,” concluded the Vice Rector.

USCC Secretary, Bima Kumara Dwi Atmaja, SH., MH, in his technical briefing, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of both mentors and students. He noted that this is just the beginning, and the current momentum is significant, especially given the lower number of competitors compared to previous years. In previous years, only 10 groups were selected out of around 5,000 proposals; this year, 17 groups were selected out of approximately 1,500. He encouraged students to make the most of this opportunity and use the available time wisely to implement their proposed programs in order to advance to the national level.

The perception alignment session was led directly by Head of the Reasoning and Creativity Unit, Dr. Ns. Putu Ayu Sani Utami, along with Unit Secretary I, Putu Tedy Indrayana, S.Pd., M.Sc. This session was held to prepare the funded PKM teams for submitting progress reports and competing in PIMNAS 2025.
