Public Policy Study Book Seminar Series 6.0 Second Series Held at Udayana University

Denpasar, Thursday (22/5/2026), Rector of Udayana University (Unud), Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana, attended and gave a speech at the Second Series of Public Policy Study Book (KKP) 6.0 Seminar Series organized by ISEI (Indonesian Economists Association) in collaboration with Bank Indonesia (BI) which was held at the Postgraduate Hall of Udayana University.

Dr. I Nyoman Mahaendra Yasa, S.E., M.Si, as the Chairperson of ISEI Denpasar Bali, who is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business in his speech said that Udayana University, especially the Faculty of Economics and Business, is part of the discussion with this strategic theme. The theme raised is very relevant to the needs of the nation in facing the digital era and global economic transformation. In addition, with many coming from outside Bali, it is hoped that it will be able to improve the Balinese economy from the visit sector, especially visits to tourist attractions in Bali.

A similar thing was also conveyed by the Rector of Unud who felt honored to be the host of this strategic activity, which not only brought together stakeholders from the academic, government, and industrial sectors, but also opened up a space for discussion on digital transformation in the national economy.

In his speech, he conveyed the Spirit of "Asta Cita" which he wants to realize in the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045, which actually requires synergy from all elements of the nation. A forum like this is a real form of collaboration and collective awareness that economic growth does not only require technological innovation, but also inclusive governance and policies that support the future.

Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia and Chairperson of Division III of the Central Board of the Indonesian Economists Association (PP ISEI), Aida S. Budiman, who was present as the Keynote Speaker, said that digitalization is one of the main foundations of future economic growth, which not only encourages efficiency and innovation, but also expands economic and financial access to various levels of society. 

He also emphasized the importance of synergy between policy authorities, academics, and business actors to build an inclusive, safe, and sustainable digital regulatory and infrastructure framework.

This seminar presented speakers including Ryan Rizaldy as Executive Director of the Payment System Policy Department of Bank Indonesia, Bambang Juanda, Chair of the FG for Financial and Payment Digitalization, Bid III PP ISEI, and Budi Gandasoebrata as a Member of the FG for Financial and Payment Digitalization of the Central ISEI.
