Shopee Indonesia Initiates Collaboration with Udayana University

The Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information accompanied by the Head of BAKH, Coordinator of Cooperation and Public Relations and the Secretary of the Entrepreneurship Unit received the Shopee Indonesia audience at the Rectorate Building, Jimbaran Campus, Thursday (27/1/2022).

The meeting discussed plans for cooperation between Shopee Indonesia and Udayana University, one of which is the clean water supply project in NTT. Shopee wants to contribute to the sustainability of clean water and help cases of stunting, the percentage of which is quite high. One of the pilot projects carried out was in one of the outermost villages on the border of Atambua and Timor Leste, which is located in the District Government of Central Timor, NTT. For this reason, it is necessary to collaborate in mentoring from Udayana University by involving resources from the Faculty of Agriculture, LPPM, and relevant work units. In addition to involving Udayana University in the pilot project, Shopee will also involve Nusa Cendana University.

Vice Rector Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika welcomed the offer of cooperation from Shopee Indonesia. Udayana University's support by involving related work units, especially assistance in the field of science, is later expected to be able to help the pilot project that is being built by Shopee Indonesia and become one of Unud's service activities outside Bali Province. To follow up on this, the Parties agreed to immediately discuss the Memorandum of Understanding.
