The socialization presented two speakers, namely the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, MP and Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Ir. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, MT.,Ph.D.,IPU, and acted as moderator is Dr. Ni Made Ras Amanda Gelgel, S.Sos., M.Si. Participants in the socialization consisted of Principals and BK teachers as PDSS operators from around 225 SMA/SMK/MA in Bali. Meanwhile, students can participate in this socialization by live streaming through the university's social media accounts (Instagram: @univ.udayana, Facebook: universityudayana), and Udayana TV's Youtube account.

Rector of Udayana University Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng.,IPU in his speech appreciated the schools that participated in this very important socialization for the smooth selection process itself. There are several things that must be understood in the 2022 new student admissions system whose implementation is fully IT-based. For this reason, it is hoped that as far as possible to follow the existing schedule because it can have consequences for both the school and the students.

Furthermore, the Rector of Udayana University conveyed several things related to the selection process which was carried out nationally and simultaneously in Indonesia by involving 75 State Universities, 39 State Polytechnics and 11 State Islamic Religious Universities. If there are students who want to continue their education at one of the tertiary institutions in question, they must participate in the selection process through this system, and if there are students who want to study outside Bali at one of the Universities that are members of this system, they can follow the selection process at Udayana University with fill in the data according to the selected PTN. In principle, this national selection process is to avoid one prospective student being accepted in two different places because it has an impact on capacity. As in previous years, this year's selection process uses three pathways, namely SNMPTN, SBMPTN and the Independent Path. Especially for the socialization this time, what was discussed was regarding the SNMPTN and SBMPTN, while the Independent Path became the autonomy of each organizing university. For those who have been accepted through the SNMPTN pathway, they no longer have the opportunity to be processed in other selection pathways. There is a percentage of the number of students who can take this SNMPTN path which depends on the school's accreditation, but schools are required to enter data for all students in the PDSS. Udayana University itself in 2022 has a capacity of 6,549 people recruited through the three pathways in accordance with the percentage determined in each path for 49 Undergraduate Study Programs (S1) and three Diplomas, and the Rector hopes that the capacity of Unud 2022 can be fulfilled as stated. expected.

The Rector also emphasized that schools must pay attention to the validity of the data uploaded to the PDSS and provide opportunities for students to confirm before being validated. If there is manipulated data, the penalty for graduation can be canceled, considering that from year to year there have been such findings. While related to KIP-Kuliah, the Rector emphasized that students must apply for the scholarship since they are still in school, not after graduation they are accepted at a university, so that when they graduate they are equipped with a scholarship.

Meanwhile, the Head of Education and Sports of the Province of Bali in his speech delivered by the Head of the Division invited all high schools to work together with universities in providing information to students so that they are right in making choices.

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Unud Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja on this occasion delivered material related to the 2022 State University New Student Admissions and the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana delivered material related to the socialization of the 2022 KIP-Lectures.
