UDAYANA FACULTY OF LAW AND ACT GLOBAL INDONESIA AFFILIATION TO HOLD INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP REGARDING IMMIGRANTS

Denpasar - Saturday (08/07), Faculty of Law of Udayana University with Act Global Indonesia held an international seminar and discussion panel entitled "Become a Legal Migrant Worker". This activity was a series of projects of Act Global Indonesia activities as well as some European NGOs called Development Of Capacities For Work With (i) migrants. The event which was held in the Law Faculty Hall of Denpasar Campus of Udayana University was held about two hours, starting at 10.00 until 12.00 A.M In this activity, attended by about 35 participants consisting of students, lecturers, and organizations that have a focus on immigrants from Indonesia and abroad

In this series of activities, there are three main speakers among them namely Dr. Putu Tuni Cakabawa Landra, SH., M. Hum, I Made Budi Arsika, SH., LLM, and representatives from BP3TKI Denpasar. In the discussion of the speakers, this seminar concerns on three main focuses in the implementation. The three main focuses are: Exposure to migration law, procedures for becoming legal migrant workers, and protection of migrant workers' rights and law.

After the implementation of this activity, the committee hopes that the youth and all participants will get better understanding, knowledge and information on legal and technical matters in terms of overseas employment which is now beginning to be more accessible among youth in Indonesia, especially in Bali.
