IMFI To Hold The Second National LKMM in Bali

Denpasar, (06/05) Indonesia Physiotherapy StudentsAssociation (IMFI) which was represented by IMFI for Bali held a National Training for Leadership of Students Management in 2017 (LKMM). The training lasted for three days form 5-7th of May in BPKKTK, east Denpasar, Bali.

The theme chosen was “Optimistic, Developing with Acknowledged Identity” with the aim to improve the skill and human resource for the IMFI participants who will lead the association. LKMM was a one of the programs of  main IMFI in PSDM ministry and one of its example is national LKMM.

 “This LKMM is particularly intended to nurture the soft-skill and management skill of the physiotherapy students in Indonesia.” Stated DewaAyuKadek Ari PurnamaDewi, the chairman of the organizing committee.

This is the second time for the LKMM to be held in Bali. The first one was carried out by Airlangga University. The participants for this year’s LKMM were students form around Indonesia who belong to physiotherapy department. Some learning material given was Indonesian Physiotherapy, Kastrad, and Advocacy, Leadership, Motivation, Public Speaking, and Forum Simulation.

 “I am so happy to see the eagerness from the participants regardless the long distance they took to be here, such as Makassar. They came from a faraway place only to train their leadership skill in Bali,” Dewayu added.

There were 64 students taking part in the training including committee. They are from Physiotherapy department of either Udayana University or DhyanaPuraUniversity. Throughout this training, IMFI is expected to improve with its human resource which actively keeps up with the leadership skill improvement and is expected as well to apply to skill. (dessrimama)
