Exploration of Cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and the Waikabubak Regional General Hospital

The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University received a visit from the Waikabubak Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in the context of exploring specialist collaborations for final-level resident doctors to improve health services and continuity of specialist services at Waikabubak Hospital, located in the Dean's Meeting Room (24/12/2021).

The delegation from Waikabubak Hospital - drg. Wahyu Nurahmad (Head of Service) and Vinsensius Eldest, SKM (Head of Nursing) were welcomed by the Dean of Medical Faculty Unud-Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes accompanied by the Deputy Deans and UPIKS Coordinators. On this occasion, the Dean of FK Unud expressed his gratitude with the plan to revive the cooperation that had previously existed and will coordinate with specialist study programs regarding the resident staff needed by Waikabubak Hospital so that later they can help health services for the Waikabubak community. As for the resident staff themselves, it will be the implementation of independent tasks and will provide a lot of experience for them to increase their competence after graduating from education. It is hoped that the collaboration will not only be in the field of sending residents but also for the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education, namely education, research and community service.
