Workshops and Curriculum Workshops for the 2023 Surgical Specialist Study Program

 

In order to continue to develop skills in the field of Surgery, the Specialist Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University held a Workshop and Curriculum Workshop which were held on Saturday and Sunday, 29-30 April 2023 at the Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort, Klungkung, Bali.

 

This workshop takes the topic of Hemodialysis Access, Total Thyroidectomy and Hemicolectomy, with the hope that it will be a step to continue developing skills in the field of Surgery.

 

The workshop activity was opened by, dr. I Putu Ari Gunawan, M. Biomed, Sp.B, Subsp. Onk(K) as chairman of the event and continued by, Dr. dr. I Made Mulyawan, Sp.B, Subsp. BD(K) as the Coordinator of the Surgical Specialist Study Program. Participating in this activity included the Main Director of RSUP Prof. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, dr. I Wayan Sudana, M.Kes., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K), and the Coordinator of the Development, Learning and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M), dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, Ph.D.

 

On this occasion, the event was also coupled with a graduate graduation, where the Surgery Study Program graduated 2 new surgeons namely, dr. I Gusti Agung Gede Darma Putra Suryapranata, Sp.B and dr. Anak Agung Ngurah Rai Kusuma Putra, Sp.B.

 

After graduation, the event continued with curriculum workshops, socialization of international accreditation, internal quality audits, and SIDU socialization.

 

The event was closed with a Gathering of the Surgery Study Program which was attended by residents, alumni and network lecturers featuring guest star Ray Peni. Gathering activities continued the next day with cycling and outbound to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between lecturers and residents.
