INCREASING INTEREST IN BECOME A JOURNALIST, NANDAKA EDITORIAL TEAM OF FASTING UNIVERSITY HELD JOURNALISTIC TRAINING

The Student Executive Board (BEM) through the Nandaka Magazine 2023 Editorial Team, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University conducted online Journalism Training activities through the Cisco Webex Meeting application (Wednesday, February 22, 2023). This event was opened by Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs and Information Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., MP., and attended by the Head of BEM, Chair of DPM, coaches and journalistic training participants at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University.

This journalistic training event took the theme "Building a Millennial Interest in Innovating to Become a Young Journalist" by presenting 3 sources including Material 1. News writing techniques and the importance of journalism for students by Syamsuddin Kelilauw (Jayakarta News); Material 2. Freedom of the press. by Gede Iyan Merta Rustanaya (Academic Press) and Material 3. Introduction to UKM Nandaka Nandini by Putu Merisant Ayu Sugiastini (Nandaka Nandini).

Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs and Information, Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., MP, in his remarks conveyed the purpose and benefits of this journalistic training. "The journalistic training was held to find cadres to succeed the managers of the Nandaka Nandini magazine and specifically for the 2022 batch, with the hope that many of the 2022 batches will be interested in becoming Nandakan managers. In addition, this training is very important to provide soft skill knowledge to students about active tips in campus journalist activities, especially at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University with this nandaka magazine. Where later this Nandaka magazine contributes to learning about activities that can be published, narrating it becomes an interesting news in Nandaka magazine," said Dr. Sumerta.
