BEM-KM FACULTY OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY UDAYANA UNIVERSITY HOLD BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION (BPC) 2022

Saturday, November 19, 2022. The Student Family Student Executive Board (BEM-KM) of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University held a 2022 Fapet Unud Business Plan Competition (BPC). Activities were carried out online and offline with the main location point at Gd AC Floor 2, Faculty of Animal Husbandry Udayana University B uk t-J imbaran. The event was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, represented by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., MP. and was attended by the Head of BEM, Head of DPM, the jury and participants of BPC 2022.

The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) carried out a Business Plan Competition (BPC) activity with the theme "Prepare Young Entrepreneurs For Digital Revolution", which was attended by 5 student groups. There are 3 groups of students from Udayana University, each group consisting of 3 people. With the chairman of each student named Yoachim Seplin Jas, I Gede Adit Puspa Dantayasa, Kadek Agus Dwipayana; Sam Ratulangi University 1 group chaired by Bobi Gumilar, and Maros Muslim University 1 group chaired by Mirsan. However, during the registration process just before the BPC competition, the Maros Muslim University did not carry out the re-registration process, so the committee declared disqualification.

In his remarks the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., MP expressed his gratitude for the hard work of the committee so that the event and the goals of BPC 2022 could be carried out. “This BPC is a competition that is held nationally and periodically every year. So this BPC is an opportunity for our younger students to publish and present ideas, business ideas that will be worked on and also provide support for our students to develop themselves and their personalities, especially in producing entrepreneurship-oriented products,” said Dr. Sumerta.

Before the BPC activity was held, a proposal selection process was carried out by the committee so that the 5 best proposals were obtained to take part in the Business Plan Competition. In addition, a Coaching Clinic activity was also carried out by the PKKM Committee (Independence Campus Competition Program) chaired by I Wayan Wirawan, S.Pt., MP for students of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry at Udayana University whose proposals passed which were carried out offline and online via Webex for 4 days before BPC activities are held. The jury involved in the Business Plan Competition activity is Dr. Indri Juliyarsi, SP., MP. (Andalas University), Ni Wayan Sri Sutari, SP., MP. (Udayana University), Dr. Ir. Josephine Louise Pinky Saerang, M.P. (Sam Ratulangi University). The event which takes place via Webex starts at 08.30-13.00 WITA. The results of the competition were 1st place won by the Udayana University Faculty of Animal Husbandry team chaired by Yoachim Seplin Jas entitled Snack Bar with Telang Flower Extract, 2nd place was won by a team from the Udayana University Faculty of Animal Husbandry chaired by Kadek Agus Dwipayana entitled Alternative Water Flea Culture Highly Nutritious Fish Feed, and 3rd place was won by a team from Sam Ratulangi University chaired by Bobi Gumilar entitled Development of Quail Livestock in Pekarangan.
