The purpose of the arrival of the delegation from UNTL was the benchmarking of laboratory equipment at the Nutrition and Animal Feed Lab, Fapet Unud. The delegation from UNTL consisted of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance (Prof. Samuel Venancio de Sausa Freitas, Ph.D), Vice Rector for Administration and Finance and General Administrator (Prof. Helio Augusto da Costa Xavier Mauguei, Ph.D. ), Pro Rector for Inspection, Auditing and Quality Control Affairs ( Prof. Jose Honorio da Costa Pereira, M.Si), Dean of The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (Prof. Jose Dionisio Ximenes, M.Cont), Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology ( Prof. Adalfredo Guterres da Silva Ximenes, M.Eng), Dean of Faculty of Agriculture ( Prof. Vicente de Paulo Correia, Ph.D), Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences ( Prof. Romualdo Lopes da Cruz, M.Sc) Procurement Director (Mr. Afonso Lopes) and Planning and Finance Director (Mr. Egidio dos Santos Filipe).

Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance (Prof. Samuel Venancio de Sausa Freitas, Ph.D) conveyed about the purpose of the visit under the legal umbrella of cooperation with UNUD and UNTL regarding Sharing lab facilities and will visit directly and discuss about the lab equipment that will be provided. used in UNTL. “I thank you for accepting us, it means a lot. In addition to getting to know Udayana University more closely, we also continue the existing collaboration," said Prof. Samuel. In addition, the role of the Nutrition Lab was explained by Prof. Suryani as a former of Ka. Nutrition and Animal Feed Lab, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unud. “Nutrition and Animal Feed Lab at Fapet Unud has two functions, namely the educational function for the lab located on the hill to serve the education of students, especially undergraduates, and the service function in the lab located in the agrocomplex building of the Sudirman campus in Denpasar. For this nutrition lab, the equipment currently has quite complete equipment in the field of nutrition with very accurate results, so that from the ministry of agriculture, the nutrition lab has passed the professional test. The nutrition lab can evaluate nutrition in terms of chemistry, physical properties of feed ingredients used as components of the ration, in vitro digestibility, counting micro-organisms in the rumen, biomolecules. This visit is actually a follow-up to meaningful collaborative activities for both parties,” explained Prof. Syria.

The event then continued with a direct visit to the Nutrition and Animal Feed Laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University. see the equipment that is in the lab and which is suitable to be applied at UNTL. On a direct visit to the nutrition lab, assistance was given about the Nutrition and Animal Feed Lab of Fapet Unud in more detail and the equipment owned by PLP Andi Udin Saransi, S.TP., M.Pt. and also as secretary general of laboratory institutions throughout Indonesia. Hopefully with this visit the cooperation between Fapet Unud and FP UNTL can continue so that it can provide benefits for both parties. UNTL and Unud collaborate with the legal umbrella of cooperation to support each other with their human resources.
