FK Unud Supports Continuity of Health Services at Cendrawasih Hospital Dobo, Aru Islands.

The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) has again expanded its network of vehicles for independent senior residents as an effort to improve the quality and sustainability of health services in Eastern Indonesia. The FK Unud visitation team conducted a feasibility assessment before the cooperation agreement with the Aru Islands Regency Government could be implemented. (6-9 September 2022)

Cooperation efforts to improve health services are focused on obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, and anesthesia health services.
Located at the Regent's Office of the Aru Islands, the Regent, dr. Johan Gonga, the Head of the Aru Islands District Health Office, and the Director of the Cendrawasih Dobo Hospital, along with their staff, received the visitation team from the Unud Medical Faculty.

In his remarks, the Regent expressed his gratitude for the willingness of the Unud Medical Faculty team to build cooperation to improve health services in remote areas.
Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes, representing the visitation team of FK Unud also expressed his gratitude for the trust given.
"Senior independent residents at FK Unud really need an independent vehicle to accelerate their graduation while improving their skills." he said.

The event was then continued with a visit to the Cendrawasih Dobo Hospital to see facilities, visit data, case variations, resident residences, and infrastructure related to health services as well as those related to the safety and security of students.

After the visit, the visitation team continued the agenda of discussing the cooperation document, so that further activities could be carried out without any obstacles.

The FK Unud visitation team also involved UPIKS FK, Komkordik FK Unud/RSUP Sanglah, and representatives of Study Programs, namely: dr. I Made Darmayasa, Sp.OG(K), Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, M. Kes, dr. Pontisomaya Parami, Sp.An, MARS, Agus Triantara, S.H, and dr. Putu Astri Novianti, Sp.B.
