Senppiu 2022: NORMALIZATION PROJECT OF THE MUARA TUKAD UNDA REGENCY, KLUNGKUNG REGENCY CASE STUDY OF STRUCTURAL DECREASE OF MULTI-PURPOSE PANEL SYSTEM (SPS) ON THE OUTSIDE EDGE IN THE EAST

Located in the Third Floor Postgraduate Courtroom, the Graduate Professional Engineer Professional Program Study Program at Udayana University held a National Seminar on the UNUD Postgraduate Engineer Professional Program – Senppiu 2022 with the theme Human Resources Development of Great Engineers and Superior Mentality on Monday (11/7/2022). This event was attended by the Postgraduate Director of Unud, Deputy Director I, Co-Prodi Engineer Profession along with teaching lecturers, and 8 presenters.

One of the presenters, I Nyoman Mahadi Angga Widyastana, presented the "NORMALIZATION PROJECT OF THE MUARA TUKAD UNDA REGENCY, KLUNGKUNG REGENCY, A CASE STUDY OF THE DECREASE OF THE STRUCTURE OF MULTIPURPOSE PANEL SYSTEM (SPS) ON THE OUTSIDE IMMEDIATE IN THE EAST."

In his presentation, he explained that during the reign of Mr. Joko Widodo as President of Indonesia, infrastructure development in all corners of Indonesia was increasingly carried out, including the province of Bali.

One of the infrastructure development projects in Bali is the Muara Tukad Unda Area Normalization Project, Klungkung Regency. The normalization activity was carried out with the aim of controlling the impact of floods that occurred around the Muara Tukad Unda area. In addition, later the area will be a supporter of the Bali Cultural Center Area which will be built later. One aspect of the work involved in the project is the installation of a Multipurpose Panel System (SPS).

In relation to the project, this research takes a case study of the occurrence of a decline in the SPS structure on the outer embankment in the east. The study was conducted to determine the initial indication of the cause of the decline in the structure. In the process the researcher uses direct observation method by collecting primary data and secondary data to support the research process of case studies. Using this direct observation method, it can be concluded that there are several factors that cause the decline in the structure. The results of this study are expected to be a lesson for the next similar project in order to minimize the occurrence of structural decline and provide an alternative optimal countermeasure if structural decline occurs again.
