Udayana Political Science Conducts Assessment to the Secretariat General of the DPR RI

Jakarta, In order to expand cooperation related to improving the quality of education, the Udayana Political Science Study Program carried out the activity of submitting a memorandum of understanding to the Secretariat General of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. This visit was a return visit to the Secretariat General of the DPR RI, which had previously visited and socialized the student internship program at Udayana University, particularly the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. In addition to being one of the agencies with the aim of increasing collaboration between Udayana University and related agencies throughout Indonesia, the Secretariat General of the DPR RI is also considered a great opportunity in helping to hone students' soft and hard skills in the form of internships. This is shown by the 'Anugerah Kampus Merdeka Indonesia Jaya' award which was successfully awarded by the Secretariat General of the DPR RI in January 2022 by the Dikti Research and Technology, so this is a good opportunity for students who want to do internships.

The exploratory activity which was attended by Dr. Tedi Erviantono, S.IP. M.Sc., Coordinator of Political Science at Udayana University, and Gede Indra Pramana, S.IP., M.A., as Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit, were welcomed by Dr. Dewi Barliana S., M.Psi., QIA as the head of the Education and Training Center, together with Budi Wuryanto, S.H. as Head of Structural and Functional Training, and Wisdom, S.Pd., M.Sc., as Head of the Education and Training Center Administration Subdivision.

The activity, which took place in the Meeting Room of the Head of the Education and Training Center, discussed the commitment to implement a cooperation agreement between Udayana University, which will be organized by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences related to internships, exchange of expertise, and even learning assignments between each party. In addition, both parties also discussed the requirements and administrative completeness needed for the MBKM apprenticeship scheme or the independent apprenticeship scheme.

It is hoped that the output of this activity can run optimally and bring benefits to both parties.
