Medical Assistance Team (TBM) Janar Duta Faculty of Medicine Trains Health Crisis Management Skills for Earthquake and Tsunami Disasters

 21 students of the Medical Faculty of Udayana University who are members of the Janar Duta Medical Assistance Team (TBM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University participated in the Health Crisis Management Simulation for the Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster in the framework of the 7th Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (GPDRR) meeting 2022, which will be held from Wednesday to Friday, 18 - 20 May 2022. This activity is located at Paragon Hotel Seminyak and Udayana University Hospital. It is hoped that this activity can improve students' understanding and skills and as an effort to increase preparedness and capacity in the health sector in dealing with health crises. The series of activities that lasted for three days began with the provision of material by resource persons from the Health Crisis Center, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, then continued with a dress rehearsal for the simulation of health crisis management. Furthermore, there will be simulation activities for overcoming the health crisis and evaluations related to all activities.
