Udayana University Welcomes Working Visit from ITERA Team on the Preparation for the Establishment of a State University with Public Service Agency (PTN-BLU) Status
Udayana University received a working visit from the team of the Sumatera Institute of Technology (ITERA) on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the Language Room, Rectorate Building, Jimbaran Campus, as part of ITERA’s preparations for the establishment of a State University with Public Service Agency (PTN-BLU) status. The visit was conducted in line with ITERA’s need to prepare institutional governance and strategic planning in accordance with Government Regulation No. 74 of 2012, which amends Government Regulation No. 23 of 2005 concerning the Financial Management of Public Service Agencies.
During the meeting, Udayana University was represented by Drs. I Komang Teken, Head of BPKU (Finance, Planning, and General Affairs Bureau), along with the Coordinators of General Administration, Facilities, and Hospitality (TU/RT/HTL), the Sub-Coordinator for Finance, and the Sub-Coordinator for Domestic Cooperation. From ITERA, the delegation was led by M. Bobby Rahman, S.T., M.Si(Han)., Ph.D., Chair of the ITERA BLU Preparation Team, accompanied by team members Amalia Listiani, S.Pd., M.Sc., and Lilis Kurniawati, S.E. Also present were Saputro Prayitno, S.H., Chair of the Legal Working Team, and team member Nofriz Riencikho, S.Sos.
The discussion was substantial, focusing on knowledge sharing and best practices related to BLU implementation at Udayana University. Key topics included the financial system of public service agencies, the regulatory framework governing PTN-BLU, as well as collaboration mechanisms and the management of BLU business units within the university environment.
Through this visit, ITERA is expected to gain strategic insights and practical examples to serve as a reference in designing governance structures, regulatory instruments, and operational schemes for its upcoming BLU implementation. On this occasion, Udayana University also reaffirmed its commitment to contributing to the improvement of higher education governance at the national level through collaboration and the exchange of best practices.
