Udayana Career Days, Open to the Public and Featuring 15 Industry Partners
Denpasar – Udayana University, through its Career and Alumni Development Unit (UPKA) under the Student Affairs Bureau, held Udayana Career Days 2025 on September 25–26, 2025, at the Nusantara Room, Agrokomplek Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar. This event aimed to connect industry partners with university graduates.
Dr. Kadek Dwita Apriani, Head of UPKA Udayana, stated that this year’s Udayana Career Days was joined by around 15 partners from various industries, including hospitality, finance, engineering, and information technology. A total of 649 participants had registered through the online link. It is estimated that over 1,500 attendees would participate over the two-day event, as in previous years many attendees joined without prior registration.
“There are approximately 150 job openings available from all participating partners. Some are targeted at specific majors, while others are open to various fields of study,” she explained.
The event was held in collaboration between UPKA and various industry partners, as well as Indonesia Career, the official event organizer. Dr. Apriani expressed her hope that all stakeholders would gain maximum benefit from the event.
She also highlighted that the event served as an opportunity to showcase Udayana graduates to industry partners and demonstrate their quality. Udayana University offers a wide range of faculties and departments that can meet diverse industry needs. Importantly, the event was open to the general public, not just Udayana graduates.
“This is also part of our Dies Natalis celebration, and we really want Udayana to bring value to the wider community. From the 649 registrants, a significant number came from outside Udayana, even from universities outside of Bali,” she added.
She expressed hope that the event would help partners find suitable candidates. She also thanked all participating partners and stakeholders involved in organizing the event.
Meanwhile, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, representing the Rector of Udayana University, expressed pride that Udayana Career Days 2025 could be held once again amid a general decline in job market availability. He noted that this was an annual event organized by UPKA under the Student Affairs Bureau and had been held for four consecutive years.
“Udayana Career Days reflects our commitment in three key areas: first, bridging the gap between education and industry; second, providing a platform to accelerate the achievement of our Key Performance Indicator (KPI) 1, which is ensuring that graduates find decent employment within less than six months; and third, fulfilling the role of the university to serve society and support workforce development,” he stated.
He expressed hope that industry partners would successfully recruit the best talents to fill their vacancies. He also affirmed that Udayana graduates possess the quality and competitiveness needed to fill the offered positions.
