The selection of FKP Unud as a place for competency testing by LSP P2O LIPI is certainly in accordance with the guidelines of the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) in implementing competency certification. This means that FKP has met the technical requirements and management requirements as a place for conducting competency tests by LSP.

Certificate of Competence is proof and recognition that a person is competent in his field. If the student has successfully participated in the certification, then the student has competence in the Coral Reef Condition Assessor and Coral Reef Fish Biodiversity Assessment scheme. The target of this activity for students in particular, is to obtain competence as evidenced by a competency certificate which can later be used as a diploma Companion certificate. This certainly provides added value for students when they graduate and I think graduate users will prioritize those who already have additional competencies.
