Producing Young Entrepreneurs from Expo 7th Equitech 2016

Stand from the five team which compete in expo 7th Equitech

Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Udayana implement the 7th Equitech (Equilibrium Entrepreneur Challenge). The activity is a work program which takes place every year. In this year the implementation of the 7th Equitech cooperated with IDX Indonesia Stock Exchange. The highlight event was held on Sunday (30/10) at the I AM Renon, Denpasar. 

The objective of the Entrepreneur Challenge is to promote young entrepreneurs with a facilitator and a container for business ideas to be realized. Preparation of the committee requires a span of 8 months until the peak of the event.

The requirements needed were: participants are individuals or in groups of three people in a team, with the age range of 17-27 years and at least high school education / vocational equivalent, maximum education are not taking the S1 and S2 education level, the next candidate must be the participants who have never opened a business.

The initial phase which must be done by each team is a collection of business proposals submitted by 32 teams. The best 10 business Proposal entered the interview session, after which the selected 5 best teams will be given a briefing and capital in running the proposed business. At the peak of the event will be decided who fall into 3 major.

In this year's Entrepreneur Challenge, it has a system of monitoring conducted by the jury to go directly monitor the development of the 5 teams. The three judges who will provide an assessment to the team that entered the Top 5 were: I Made Sarjana, SE, MM, one of the lecturers in STIKOM Bali; I Putu Yuliartha, SS, a former chairman of the HIPMI Kota Denpasar; and a lecturer of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Udayana, Ayu Desi Indrawati, S.E., M.M.

These five teams that compete in the 7th Expo Equitech was offering attractive products, such as Dinar Lerak Shoap, Japanese Organic Water, Cathering Dressage, Bali Made and Beverages Adem Hip Hop. (mimi)
