Rector of the University of Timor Leste visits Unud Postgraduate, Discusses Cooperation Opportunities

The Postgraduate Director of Udayana University accompanied by Deputy Directors, Study Program Coordinator and Unit Coordinator received a visit from the Rector of the University of Timor Leste (UNTL) and his entourage in the Director's Meeting Room, Postgraduate Building of Udayana University, Tuesday (12/07/2022). In the meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation between UNTL and Postgraduate Unud.

"Udayana University postgraduates are ready to be invited to collaborate, both in the field of joint research, and shared lectures if needed," said Prof. Dr. I Wayan Budiasa, SP., MP. as Deputy Director for Academic and Student Affairs.

Prof. Ir. Linawati, M.Eng.Sc, Ph.D, Director of Postgraduate at Udayana University on the occasion informed that there are 4 study programs under Postgraduate that have the opportunity to collaborate, "We have 4 study programs that are ready to cooperate, 2 study programs in the environmental field, there is a Master of Environmental Sciences and a Doctor of Environmental Sciences, in the health sector we have a Masters in Ergonomics and Physiology of Work and one more study program, namely the Engineering Profession, even in the future we will have 2 new study programs, namely the Master of Health Law and the Master of Sustainable Finance Development which are currently in the submission stage. establishment".

It was also informed that the Unud Postgraduate Program would open a Distance Education (PJJ) program which would make it easier for students to attend lectures. In addition to the PJJ program, the Postgraduate program also plans to open a doctoral program with blended learning (by course and by research) and also full research with provisions that have been adjusted to the applicable rules. In greeting, the Chancellor of the University of Timor Leste also stated that he was ready to cooperate with Udayana University, "We hope to cooperate in the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, many lecturers and even the Dean at our University are also graduates from Udayana University, making it easier to communicate further" .
