Comparative Study on Scientific Journal Management, Unud Welcomes Visit from the Policy Strategy Center for Law Enforcement of the Attorney General’s Office
Denpasar – The Head of the Policy Strategy Center for Law Enforcement of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia and his delegation visited Udayana University for a comparative study on the management of the Attorney General’s Office Scientific Journal, "The Prosecutor Law Review (PROLEV)." The delegation was received by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information of Udayana University, along with the Head of the General Bureau, the Secretary of LPPM, JUPI, and the Journal Managers from the Faculty of Law, at the Postgraduate Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, on Tuesday (June 3, 2025). This study aims to enhance the management of the Attorney General’s Office Scientific Journal.
In his remarks, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika briefly introduced the profile of Udayana University, which has three campus locations. He further explained that Udayana University manages journals as a medium for student publications, with journals existing in all faculties, and detailed information would be provided by the Udayana University Journal Team. The Vice Rector expressed hope that the objectives of this comparative study would be achieved.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Policy Strategy Center for Law Enforcement, Dr. Tanti Adriani Manurung, SH., MH, conveyed that the Attorney General’s Office recently has a journal accredited with SINTA 4 and has a strong desire to upgrade its status to Scopus despite limitations, especially the scarcity of authors within the Attorney General’s Office. Through this opportunity, they seek guidance, input, and coordination on how to improve the journal. Additionally, they hope to receive article contributions from Udayana University, especially related to strengthening the authority of the Attorney General’s Office.
During the meeting, presentations were made regarding journal management in each institution, followed by a discussion.
