Udayana University Holds PMB Expo in 2025, Opens More Entrance Doors on the Independent Route

Jimbaran – Udayana University (Unud) held the 2025 New Student Admissions Expo at the Widya Sabha Auditorium Building, Jimbaran Campus, Wednesday (14/5/2025). This Expo is an event that aims to welcome the younger generation with a spirit of transformation and open access to higher education. Through this expo, new entry pathway schemes were introduced, including updated independent pathways, international classes, and Recognition of Past Learning (RPL). This innovation is not only a form of adaptation to current developments, but also a commitment to becoming a more inclusive, competitive and globally relevant campus.

The expo activity, which was attended by SMA/SMK/equivalent students and teachers in Bali, also presented 13 faculties to showcase their respective potentials and advantages so that students and teachers from various schools could immediately get to know the true face of Unud, a campus that is culture-based, but globally minded. The information shared at this expo can also be viewed again on the Udayana TV YouTube account. Before the opening of the expo, a press conference was also held inviting media partners to participate in disseminating information regarding the 2025 PMB, especially the Independent Pathway at Udayana University.

Rector of Unud Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D in his speech said that this expo was not just an event to promote admission, but also a momentum to introduce the new face of Udayana University, which now comes with admission schemes that are more inclusive, adaptive and quality-based. Through the renewed independent pathway, the opening of International Classes, as well as the Past Learning Recognition scheme, of course it opens more doors for Indonesia's young generation to grow and achieve on this campus.

Through this opportunity, the Rector also appreciated the presence of the teachers at this expo. The relationship between schools and colleges is key in the education ecosystem. Without the role of great teachers who guide at the previous level, there would be no great students on campus. The Rector also welcomed the students who attended as potential friends of the struggle in the future.

"This campus is not just a place to study, but also a place to discover identity, hone potential, and build a future together. We believe that campus success is our collective success, so our big theme today is collaboration to build nodes of hope through knowledge, culture, and dedication," said the Rector of Unud.

The Rector hopes that the students who attend will be able to explore the booths of the 13 Faculties to consult and ask questions regarding education in each study program, and that Udayana University is ready to become a second home for students' intellectual and life journeys.
