Towards Accreditation, Unud Hospital Discussed Governance with Resource Persons from Kemenristekdikti

Jimbaran - Udayana University Hospital conducts Discussion on Hospital Management in preparation for accreditation, Monday (29/10) by presenting the Coordinator of the Field I Joint Committee of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Prof. dr. Amal Chalik Sjaaf, SKM., Dr.PH and moderator Kasubdit Management and Utilization of Facilities and Infrastructure Directorate General of SDID Kemenristekdikti, dr. Diar Wahyu Indriari, MARS. The event was attended by the Rector of Unud, Deputy Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Head of BPKU, and Director of Unud Hospital and all staff.

Director of Unud Hospital, Dr. dr. Dewa Putu Gde Purwa Samatra in his presentation explained the beginning of the construction of the hospital along with its stages and the management of operational permits to reach type C. Currently Unud Hospital already has inpatient and operating rooms so that it can be used to support the education process of doctors at the Faculty of Medicine Unud . In the development phase, Unud Hospital also received assistance from the Badung Regency Government.

Rector of Unud, Prof. AA Raka Sudewi said that the purpose of this activity was to get enlightenment and solutions related to the existence of Unud Hospital, which in its journey started from the first health polyclinic, to get an operational license from the related department equivalent to type C and since then one health facility was transferred outside Unud Hospital. The main objective of this governance discussion is to get a solution to enable the Unud Hospital to function in accordance with its designation as an education hospital while providing services to the community. For this reason, there needs to be a policy from the Ministry so that Unud Hospital can function as an education hospital and also serve the community. In its development stage, currently Unud Hospital also receives assistance from the Badung Regency Government. (HM)
