THROUGH BENCHMARKING, UNSRATE EXPECT INFORMATION RELATED TO MANAGEMENT ACADEMIC FIELD

Jimbaran - Thursday, (17/05/2018), located at the Nusa Room, Rectorate Building, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Udayana University (Unud), Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng, accompanied by Head of Academic Bureau, Cooperation and Public Relations, Head of Public Bureau, Head of Student Affairs Bureau, Secretary of LP3M and Secretary of USDI received benchmarking visit from Sam Ratulangi University (UNSRAT), Manado. The visiting group consisted of the Chairman of Professor of Sam Ratulangi University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jeany Sh. Polii Mandang, MS and Deputy Director I of Postgraduate and Vice Dean for Academic and Cooperation of Faculty of University of Sam Ratulangi, with the aim to improve the quality of Academic Teaching Resources at Sam Ratulangi University.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Jeany Sh. Polii Mandang, MS as the head of the rombong in his speech, conveyed the purpose of this visit to get closer to the management of the academic field implemented by Udayana University which is believed to be more advanced, thus becoming one of the options for benchmarking. Many things that want to learn and be exemplified and applied at the University of Sam Ratulangi are currently preparing the Academic Guidelines that will be enacted in Odd Semester of the academic year 2018/2019.

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng in his speech conveying Unud and UNSRAT has many similarities, Unud is the largest and oldest university in Bali, as well as UNSRAT is the largest university in North Sulawesi. It is expected that through this visit both parties can exchange information in the management of the academic field, especially related to the preparation of Academic Guidelines, in accordance with the main objectives of UNSRAT.

The visit ended with UNSRAT appreciation submission to Unud who has received and shared information related to the development of education at Udayana University, and also expected to have continued visits of both parties. (HM)
