Unud Extended the Signing Memorandum of Understanding with Eijkman Molecular Biology Institute

Jimbaran - Monday (26/03/2018) at Language Room Hall Rectorate Building Bukit Jimbaran Campus, Udayana University undertook the Signing of Extension Memorandum of Understanding with Eijkman Molecular Biology Institute (LBME). On the same occasion also signed the Agreement of Cooperation (PKS) between Faculty of Medicine Unud with Eijkman Molecular Biology Institute.

Rector of Unud, Prof. Dr. dr. A A. Raka Sudewi, Sp.S (K) expressed her gratitude to LBME for the opportunity that has given to the academic community of Udayana University in conducting medical research, since the research equipment owned by Udayana University is not complete as owned by LBME. Five years earlier has great benefits for the development of institutions, especially in the field of molecular biology. The Rector expects this cooperation will continue as expected by both parties, and should be utilized as well as possible considering that Unud is expected to conduct international publications that need to be supported by facilities such as the Eijkman Molecular Biology Institute. Rector also gave appreciation to LBME because of the cooperation made by Unud has place and opportunity to do continuous research.

Head of LBME, Prof. Amin Soebandrio hopes that cooperation can improve the quality of Eijkman Institute of Molecular Institute research. As it is understood that the LBME policy is if after the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding there is no technical cooperation within 2 (two) years then the parties' Memorandum of Understanding will be null and void. However, on this good occasion LBME and FK Unud have agreed to follow up the technical cooperation activities so it doesn’t need to worry about that concerns and considering also the parties have been working together for a long period of time in the field of research. Through the signing of Memorandum of Understanding and Signing of Cooperation Agreement is expected to be realized joint research activities in accordance with the hope of the Rector of Udayana University.  (PR).
