INTERNATIONAL STUDENT DAY, CIP UNUD HELD INTERNATIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL 2017

Bukit Jimbaran - Center for International Programs (CIP) Udayana University held Udayana International Food Festival 2017, on Wednesday (4/10/2017) at Bukit Jimbaran Campus. The event was attended by student of Unud from 32 countries around the world that filled with cultural activities and food bazaars.

Director of CIP Unud, Ni Putu Sri Harta Mimba conveyed this activity held by a series of International Student Day and 55th Dies Natalis Unud. This activity involved foreign students who follow the international program at Udayana University, which in this semester amounts to 900 students, and in addition it also involved regular students and academic community of Udayana University. In this activity the students were given the opportunity to meet students from various other countries who are studying at Udayana University. The students are expected to mingle and meet their colleagues from other international programs. Sri Harta Mimba hopes that this activity can improve the friendship of foreign students who are studying at Udayana University. In addition it also aimed to raise funds for the community of Karangasem which currently scattered in the refuge camps of Mount Agung.

Various appearances performed by foreign students that included Indian Dance and Janger Dance which danced by 34 foreign students. Some other competitions were also performed such as eating crackers, inserting nails in bottles and other competitions. At the bazaar booth presented various menus whose concepts and ideas from the students. The benefits of the bazaar will be donated to Gunung Agung refugees.
Foreign students who were involved in this activity look happy because they can participate and learn the culture of Bali and get an interesting experience.(PR)
