Jimbaran – The handover ceremony of the 2024 Civil Servant Candidate (CPNS) Appointment Decrees, Second Batch, at Udayana University took place at the Widya Sabha Auditorium, Jimbaran Campus, on Tuesday (June 17, 2025). The appointment decrees (SK) were handed over symbolically by the Rector of Udayana University, accompanied by the Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance, to representatives of academic (lecturer) and administrative staff. Also present at the ceremony were the Head of the General Bureau, the Human Resources Coordinator along with their team, and the Sub-Coordinator of the Finance Division.

For the 2024 CPNS recruitment, Udayana University received appointment decrees for 190 individuals, consisting of 163 functional academic positions (lecturers) and 27 functional and implementing administrative positions. In this second batch, 136 appointment decrees were handed over, comprising 119 for functional lecturers and 17 for functional and implementing administrative personnel.

In his remarks, Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D., congratulated the newly appointed CPNS who had successfully passed a long and rigorous selection process leading up to the official issuance of their appointment decrees as ASN-CPNS (State Civil Apparatus – Civil Servant Candidates).

“I hope this marks the beginning of your journey in serving through your professional roles at Udayana University, contributing to the realization of Udayana University as an Excellent, Independent, and Cultured institution,” stated the Rector.

The Rector further explained that Udayana University is currently preparing to transition from a Public Service Agency (BLU) to a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH). With this new status, governance and institutional management will be enhanced. The SK handover marks a joyful milestone after a lengthy process, officially welcoming the CPNS into the Udayana University community.

In his speech, the Rector also emphasized three core duties of ASN, in accordance with Article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20 of 2023 on State Civil Apparatus:

  1. Implementers of Public Policy – CPNS must uphold the responsibility to implement government policies at both national and regional levels.

  2. Public Servants – ASN at Udayana University are expected to serve the general public, particularly the academic community, through administrative, health, and educational services.

  3. Unifiers of the Nation – As agents of change, ASN play a vital role in maintaining and strengthening national unity amidst Indonesia’s diversity.

“After receiving your CPNS decrees, I urge you to exercise caution when making public statements, particularly on social media or other electronic platforms. As public servants and state apparatus, you are under public scrutiny. I sincerely hope that all of you will help uphold the good name of our beloved institution, Udayana University, by adhering to existing regulations,” the Rector concluded.

Following the decree handover, additional briefings were delivered by the Head of the General Bureau, the HR Team, and the Finance Division, explaining the administrative procedures related to HR and financial mechanisms for the newly appointed CPNS.
