UKM Arts Held an Event for the New Talent 'The Infinity of Art'

Denpasar - Udayana University Students Activity Unit (UKM) Arts held "The Infinity of Art", on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Ayodya Cultural Park Art Center, Denpasar. This event was an event to recruit new members specifically for new students who choose UKM Arts. Another goal of this art show was to see the creativity and commitment of new students in UKM Arts as well as a way to strengthen the rope of fraternity.

Erika as Chairman of the Organizing Committee conveyed a two-days event, 21-22 October 2017 followed by 429 students that divided into four divisions in UKM Arts District Division Dance 21 Group, 7 Group Choir Division, 27 Music Division Division and Division Modern Dance 13 Groups. Erika hopes this activity can be sustainable to see the creativity and potential of students to be included in the contest.

Vice Rector for Student Affairs Unud, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Made Sudarma, MS conveyed every two years an art competition such as group vocals, keroncong, dangdut, pop and dance so that future art orientation should be based on existing championships and achievements that can be achieved because achievement can improve the institution's ranking. Students' achievements are also included in institutional performance contracts and accreditation ratings which are inseparable from student achievement both nationally and internationally. The Vice Rector hopes that this activity can contribute to upgrading Udayana University. (PR)
