Participating in the Public Information Openness Public Test, Unud Rector Presents Commitment to Transparency and Digital Innovation Before the Panel
Jakarta, 18–20 November 2025 – The Central Information Commission (KIP) conducted a Public Test for Public Bodies that passed the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) stage of the 2025 Public Information Openness Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev). Universitas Udayana was among the participants in the Higher Education category, alongside ministries, provincial governments, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), and political parties. The event took place at Grand Mercure Kemayoran, Jakarta, with the presentation theme “Policies and Strategies of Public Bodies in Fulfilling the Public’s Right to Access Information.”
The Rector of Universitas Udayana, Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana, attended the session accompanied by the Head of PPID Unud and the Coordinator for Cooperation and Public Relations. Each public body leader was given 10 minutes to deliver their presentation, followed by a question-and-answer session with the Panel Team consisting of KIP Commissioners, academics, practitioners, and journalists.
In his presentation, the Rector emphasized Universitas Udayana’s commitment to realizing a transparent, accountable, fast, timely, and easily accessible higher education governance system. He stressed that information openness is not merely a regulatory obligation but an essential component in improving the quality of higher education services.
The Rector explained that information transparency at Unud is implemented through three main pillars:
-
Strengthening human resources and a culture of transparency across all work units;
-
Providing accessible public information channels, such as the Universitas Udayana Information Desk in the Rectorate Lobby, the PPID website, and various official university media channels;
-
Developing a data-driven and openness-based Tri Dharma ecosystem supporting education, research, and the downstreaming of research outputs to maximize societal impact.
Furthermore, Unud presented several strategic programs and supporting facilities for quality education that are part of its transparency commitment, including the strengthening of learning infrastructure, open interaction between students, lecturers, and parents, and the provision of a transparent and participatory academic environment.
One section that captured the panel’s attention was Universitas Udayana’s digital innovation through SIPRANAYANA, a digital-based procurement application. This platform enables procurement processes to be conducted openly, transparently, in an integrated manner, and accessible for public monitoring, including provider validation through the Si Dapet feature. This innovation demonstrates Unud’s commitment to transparent management of educational resources.
All presentation materials were evaluated based on the quality of information, the types of information disclosed, public service facilities, leadership commitment, and digital innovation. Through this public test, Universitas Udayana showcased its seriousness in strengthening information governance and building public trust through structured and sustainable openness.
With the strategies, policies, and digital innovations presented, Universitas Udayana affirms that information transparency is a vital element in supporting the creation of a high-quality and integrity-driven higher education environment.
