The Independent UTBK at Udayana University took place at two campus locations: Denpasar Campus with 905 participants and Jimbaran Campus with 1,267 participants, using a total of 27 examination rooms. The subjects tested in the UTBK include the Scholastic Potential Test, Mathematical Reasoning, Indonesian Literacy, and English Literacy.

Participants were required to inspect the exam location a day prior to the test, bring their 2025 UTBK Independent Participant Card, diploma or graduation certificate (Ijazah/SKL), valid ID (KTP/Driver's License), student card, and a signed Participant Declaration Letter. They were also required to sit according to their assigned desk numbers. During the exam, participants were strictly prohibited from leaving the room or bringing communication devices, cameras, recording devices, calculators, notes, or any other unauthorized items. Supervisors verified participant documents, and all participants were required to comply with exam regulations.

On the first day of the Independent UTBK, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, MP., IPU, directly inspected the examination rooms at the Jimbaran Campus. In a separate interview, Prof. Rai stated that preparations had been made, particularly concerning the number of rooms required based on the number of participants.

"At Udayana University, we have prepared a total of 27 exam rooms—12 in Denpasar and 15 in Jimbaran—to accommodate 2,172 participants. The exams are divided into four sessions: July 11 has two sessions (morning and afternoon), and July 12 has two more sessions. In Jimbaran, we are accommodating 1,267 participants, and in Denpasar, 905 participants," he explained.

He further stated that the university had also made arrangements to ensure smooth internet connectivity and coordinated with the state electricity company (PLN) to prevent power outages at the exam locations. The Vice-Rector expressed hope that through the Independent UTBK, Udayana University would admit high-quality prospective students who understand and are capable of entering their chosen programs, aided by a rigorous question selection process with the involvement of faculties in preparing the question bank.

"Our hope, of course, is to select the best prospective students who can be further developed into outstanding, independent, and culturally rooted graduates," he concluded.

The announcement of results for the Independent UTBK at Udayana University is scheduled for July 18, 2025.
