The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Udayana University was visited by the LAMSAMA Assessor Team for the Field Assessment of the S1 Chemistry Study Program Accreditation
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Udayana University Welcomes the Assessor Team from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA) for the Field Assessment of the S1 Chemistry Study Program Accreditation
On Thursday (June 12, 2025), FMIPA Udayana University welcomed the arrival of the assessor team from LAMSAMA for the field assessment activity regarding the accreditation of the S1 Chemistry Study Program. The event took place at the FMIPA Building on Jimbaran Campus and was attended by faculty leadership, lecturers, education staff, and students.
The assessor team consisted of Prof. Dr. Didik Prasetyoko, S.Si., M.Sc., and Prof. Dr. Dwi Hudiyanti, M.Sc. The arrival of both assessors was warmly welcomed in an opening ceremony held solemnly in the Laboratory on the 3rd Floor of FMIPA. Also present at the event were the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, M.P., IPU, the Dean of FMIPA Udayana University, the Vice Deans of FMIPA, representatives from LP3M, LPPM, USDI, the Library Unit, Study Program Coordinators from undergraduate to doctoral levels, Heads of Units, education staff, and all other supporting elements.
In his speech, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, expressed full support for the accreditation process as a form of the university’s commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of education. The Vice Rector also conveyed his hopes that the Field Assessment process would run smoothly and yield optimal accreditation results for the S1 Chemistry Study Program.
Following the opening ceremony, the activities continued with a session of document confirmation and discussion concerning the LED (Self-Evaluation Report) and LKPS (Study Program Performance Report) between the assessor team and the faculty and study program representatives. The discussion then continued by involving alumni, graduate users, lecturers, students, and education staff.
This Field Assessment is scheduled to take place over two days. On the second day, the assessor team is planned to conduct direct visits to various facilities and supporting infrastructure for academic activities within FMIPA Udayana University.
