The Chairperson of the UKM Expo 2025 Organizing Committee, I Kadek Varden Danendra Narayan, stated that the UKM Expo serves as a platform for UKMs to showcase their creativity and uniqueness to new students. In line with the theme, new students will be encouraged to find their identity through the UKMs, Associations, Religious Forums, and Communities available at Udayana University. For the smooth running of the event, the committee also requested that UKMs, Associations, Communities, and participants maintain cleanliness and unity until the event concludes.
Meanwhile, in his speech, Vice-Rector Prof. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya expressed his appreciation to the committee for organizing this event, which is an important moment eagerly awaited every year. According to the theme, this event is not just an ordinary exhibition but a window for everyone to see the richness of potential and talent possessed by students at Udayana University. There are many options ranging from arts, sports, scientific activities to social-religious endeavors. Each Student Activity Unit (UKM), Regional Association, Religious Forum, Community, or Extracampus Student Organization (ORMEK) is a place where students can develop themselves, channel their hobbies, sharpen soft skills, and build relationships.
“Campus is not only a place to study in the classroom but also a place to shape oneself, find identity, and contribute meaningfully. Joining organizations, whether intra-campus or extra-campus, is one of the best ways to do this. There, you will learn to organize, collaborate in teams, lead, and most importantly, learn to create,” said the Vice-Rector.
He also advised new students to make the most of this opportunity and not hesitate to visit each booth to find the organization that best fits their interests and passions. With a spirit of togetherness and creativity, the Vice-Rector is confident that this event will run successfully and bring benefits to all.
