This Bimtek was opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs representing the Rector of Unud and presented speakers from the Dikti RPL Team, namely Dr. Drs. Ludfi Djajanto, MBA. The materials presented by the speakers in the Bimtek were the Type A RPL program policy, Type A RPL Implementation Guidelines, Type A RPL Assessment Workshop, as well as presentations and directions related to the preparation for the implementation of the RPL program by the Head of LP3M Unud.

The Bimtek Committee represented by the Secretary of the Unud RPL Team Dr. Sumiyati, STP.,MP in her report conveyed that the RPL activities that will be held at Udayana University are Type A RPL, namely in the form of recognition of learning achievements for courses that are part of the study program curriculum, where the recognition is recognition of learning outcomes obtained from learning outcomes that may be taken in a study program at a previous university formally, it could also be from learning outcomes that are taken informally and it could also be from work experience after graduating from previous education. This Type A RPL is carried out on the individual initiative of the prospective student concerned to obtain recognition later with the final output in the form of a Diploma.

In the implementation of RPL, Udayana University carries out several stages and currently we are in the preparation stage, where the readiness of documents has been prepared including university regulations and finalization of the guidelines for implementing RPL itself. A team has been formed to upload to SIERRA. Then the participants of the Bimtek are 128 assessors from 11 faculties and postgraduate programs at Unud.

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Unud Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja in his speech said that the RPL Program is a strategic step taken to provide recognition for work experience, skills, and knowledge that have been obtained by individuals through non-formal channels. This program allows professionals and workers who already have experience in the world of work to obtain academic recognition that is equivalent to formal education.

Through this opportunity, the Vice Rector also emphasized several important benefits of this RPL program, including a Shorter Study Period where students can reduce the number of courses they must take, so they can complete their studies in a shorter time. Then Recognition and Awards, which provide formal recognition for skills and knowledge that have been obtained through work experience, which are often not recognized in the formal education system.

Furthermore, Qualification Enhancement helps individuals to improve their academic qualifications, thus opening up better career opportunities and increasing competitiveness in the job market. As well as Flexibility and Efficiency which provide flexibility for professionals who want to continue their education without having to leave their jobs or sacrifice significant time. In addition, this program also reduces education costs because recognition of prior learning can reduce the number of courses that must be taken.

"We believe that this RPL program will make a significant contribution to the development of more competent and qualified human resources. This program is also in line with the vision and mission of Unud to become a university that excels in education, research, and community service," said the Vice Rector.

The Vice Rector hopes that the speakers present can share and provide in-depth explanations regarding assessment standards, as well as the criteria and indicators used to assess prior learning.
