Faculty of Tourism, Udayana University Holds 40th Faculty of Tourism Family Council

The Faculty of Tourism, Udayana University (Unud) held the 40th Faculty of Tourism Family Council (BKFPAR) on Friday, May 9, 2025. This event was attended and opened directly by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, SP., M.Agr., Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and staff, Deans and Vice Deans at Udayana University, employees and students. 

This 40th anniversary is a special moment to reflect on the long journey that the Faculty of Tourism has gone through. To celebrate its 40th Anniversary, BK FPAR was filled with various interesting activities including a fun walk, competitions between lecturers, employees and students, career day, bar competition, and enlivened by a peak night filled with various interesting performances.

"The 40th BK FPAR is a strong momentum for us to reflect on our commitment to advancing tourism education in the future," said Dr. Irma Rahyuda, A.Par, M.M., M.Par., M.Rech Chair of the 40th FPAR BK Committee.

Dean of the Faculty of Tourism Dr. I Wayan Suardana, SST. Par., M.Par., in his speech also expressed his gratitude for the involvement of many parties in making the 40th FPAR BK a success. In addition, the presence of partners in this activity is a great appreciation because it proves the existence of the Faculty of Tourism in the industrial world.

"In this happy moment, we are also grateful that five study programs at the Faculty of Tourism have now been accredited as superior. Of course, this is the first step of our optimism in improving the quality of education in the Faculty of Tourism to be better," said the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism.

Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, in his speech representing the Rector, said that the 40th FPAR BK activity was a forum that not only strengthened solidarity between academics, but also fostered a sense of belonging and collaborative spirit within the extended family at the Faculty of Tourism. 

"I highly appreciate the commitment of the Faculty of Tourism which always maintains this family culture through creative, lively and meaningful events," he said.

It is hoped that the family spirit that grows from this FPAR BK activity will become a solid foundation for the progress of the faculty, university, and the Indonesian nation in the future.
