Udayana University Collaborates with Northern Iloilo State University, Philippines
Denpasar, April 30, 2025 – Udayana University (Unud) continues to demonstrate its commitment to expanding its international network through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Northern Iloilo State University (NISU), Philippines.
The signing of the MoU was held at the Postgraduate Building of Udayana University, Denpasar, and was attended by the Rector of Udayana University, Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering along with staff and students, and a delegation from NISU led by Dr. Bobby D. Gerardo, RME, MEE, D.Eng. (President), Dr. Felicisimo V. Wenceslao Jr., Ed.D., D.I.T. (Dean, College of Information & Computing Studies), and Dr. Felipe P. Vista IV, Ph.D. (University Director, R&D Services).
This MoU marks a strategic step for both institutions in establishing partnerships in the fields of higher education, research, and community service. On that occasion, the Rector of Udayana University and the President of NISU officially signed a cooperation document as a form of joint commitment in supporting the improvement of academic quality and the development of science.
As a follow-up to this cooperation, the Faculty of Engineering of Udayana University will collaborate with the College of Information and Computing Studies of NISU. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, on this occasion also explained the profile of the faculty, opportunities for research collaboration, and other forms of cooperation that can be developed in the future.
Through this cooperation, it is hoped that both institutions can strengthen each other's positions in the international arena and contribute to the development of technology and science that are relevant to global challenges.
