Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University Holds Webinar on Dissemination of Research Results and Community Service

The Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University (Unud) held an online Dissemination Webinar on Research and Community Service Results within the Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University online through the Cisco Webex application, Wednesday (23/11/2022). This webinar has the theme "Development of Research-Based Local Potential for Sustainable Animal Husbandry.

This dissemination activity is one of the work programs of the UP2M Faculty of Animal Husbandry Udayana University which is routinely carried out every year, where this activity is a scientific meeting venue that aims to present and inform research results and community service from the academic community of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud. In addition, it is also to prepare and refine the results of research and community service towards university-level results seminars which are commonly referred to as SENASTEK.

Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Dr. I Nyoman Tirta Ariana on this occasion hopes that the implementation of this dissemination activity can produce useful outcomes for researchers, devotees, and institutions. "It is our great hope that the implementation of this dissemination can run smoothly and produce useful outcomes for all researchers, devotees, and institutions, especially the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University and in general for Udayana University," said the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University.

While the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja in his remarks said that currently the population of Indonesia is increasing very rapidly so of course it is followed by the increasing need for food including animal food. To anticipate this, the government needs to prepare a sustainable medium and long term livestock development strategy by utilizing the availability of local resources. The Vice Rector hopes that this webinar will provide a thorough and complete understanding of the importance of science and technology development in sustainable livestock development.

There were two speakers present in this webinar, including Dr. I Ketut Mangku Budiasa, S.Pt., M.Si. with the material "Strategy for Livestock-Based Suboptimal Land Development in the Province of Bali" and Ir. Ni Gusti Ketut Roni, M.Sc with the material "Community Service in Higher Education".
