In preparation for the Main Performance Index League (MPI), the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University held a Leadership Meeting.


The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM), Udayana University held a Leadership Meeting on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the Meeting Room on the 1st Floor of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, Denpasar Bali. Activities are carried out offline by implementing strict health protocols. The Leadership Meeting was attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, Unit Coordinators, Study Program Coordinators, Heads of Laboratories, and Sub Coordinators in the FVM UNUD. The meeting was opened with remarks and a report by the Dean of FVM, Prof. Dr. drh. I Nyoman Suartha, M.Si. In his report, Prof. Suartha said, "There will be a Major Performance Index League (MPI) which will be implemented by the University, which consists of assessing the quality of the curriculum, human resources (HR) and graduation. It is hoped that FVM can maximize the assessment in this MPI League”. Furthermore, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Dr. drh. I Gusti Ngurah Sudisma, M.Si Provide information on building and maintaining a culture of continuous quality improvement by implementing and strengthening SPMI and SPME and each laboratory is required to make one module and textbook.

 

At this meeting, the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. drh. Luh Gde Sri Surya Heryani, M. Biomed. Delivering information related to lecturer performance through a graph of the number of retired lecturers per year, comparison of lecturer positions per year, comparison of lecturer groups per year, comparison of lecturer education per year, comparison of lecturer positions per education level, ratio of lecturer's home base to students of each study program. According to Dr. Surya "It is recommended that lecturers be able to participate in promotions with the assistance of representatives of education staff, so that the distribution of human resources at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University increases". Furthermore, it was conveyed about activities in the Student Affairs Sector which was conveyed by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. drh. I Wayan Sudira, M.Sc. Dr. Sudira said "Student activities have been going well such as Veterinary Work Study and Organizational Management Training, as well as to increase the MPI, it is necessary to improve further, especially student activities recognized by MPI such as the Student Creativity Program (SCP) and the Independent Independent Learning Campus Program (MBKM).". He also said that there were already several Cooperation Programs (PKS) such as 10 Clinical Vehicles that were ready to be used by Unud students in MBKM activities of the University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.


 


On this occasion, it was also conveyed about the development of units within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University. One of them is the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University. Prof. Dr. drh. I Ketut Puja, M.Kes said "VTH FVM UNUD has succeeded in continuing its collaboration with Animal Australia as of February for the next 5 months, but the MoU is still in Australia, in the MoU it is stated that every client who brings a patient affected by Covid will be free of charge and covered animals australia, the amount of money given as much as 3000 dollars is only devoted to medical services, for unrecorded service” . Besides that, it was also conveyed the process of developing the International Animal Hospital owned by Udayana University which has been carried out by the Site Visit by the planning department of Udayana University.
