The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University helds a First period of Veterinarian Oath and Inauguration in 2022

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM Unud) held a First period of Veterinarian Oath and Inauguration in 2022 which took place in a hybrid system, Wednesday (16/02/2022). The offline event was held in the FVM Unud Meeting Room by implementing a strict COVID-19 prevention protocol. Offline participants are limited to 1 representative from the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (S.KH.) Study Program and 1 person of Master of Veterinary Medicine (M.Si.) Study Program. The offline participants for the of Veterinarians Oath (DVM.) were represented by 5 participants from Hindus, Muslims, Catholics, Protestants, and Buddhists. Meanwhile, online events are held via webex and Youtube, in collaboration with Udayana TV.



The event began with a prayer reading represented by drh. I Wayan Sukernayasa, M.Si. which was then continued with the report of the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning FVM Unud represented by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs FVM Unud Dr. drh. I Wayan Sudira, M.Si.. Dr. Sudira said the number of participants was 54 people, consisting of 4 undergraduate programs, 46 professional programs, and 2 masters programs.

 The event continued with the inauguration of the undergraduate and master's degree graduates by the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Unud (Prof. Dr. drh. I Nyoman Suartha, M.Si.) accompanied by Dr. drh. I Wayan Sudira, M.Sc. which is symbolically done by giving certificate and transcripts. Meanwhile, for the participants of the inauguration of the professional program, a veterinarian is oath in, followed by the awarding of certificate, transcripts and veterinary statue.

The Dean of FVM Unud congratulated the participants for being able to complete their education well. Prof. Suartha also conveyed a message to the graduation participants, namely "Never forget what and who made you and maintain a good relationship with your alma mater and in the future, it is hoped that you will actively contribute to the Alumni Association of Udayana Veterinary University (Ikayana Vet)".



 The event continued with remarks and messages from representatives of the parents of the participants (Ni Luh Sri Sudiati). Sudiati expressed her gratitude to Udayana University, especially FVM Unud, for their services in educating our children from those who do not know to know. So it is hoped that in the future our children can be useful for the alma mater, nation and state. The event was continued with speeches and messages from representatives of the judiciary participants (drh. Derisna Sawitri Ugsyani, S.KH.). drh. Derisna expressed her gratitude for the knowledge and experience that had been given as well as the facilities in achieving all of this to the academic community of FVM Unud. Dr. Derisna also conveyed congratulations to her comrades in arms, hopefully in the future good relations can be established with the alma mater and the world of the veterinary profession.

The graduation ceremony for undergraduate and masters as well as the inauguration of veterinarians went smoothly. The event ended with a group photo (R).
