BEM-KM FACULTY OF LIVESTOCK UDAYANA UNIVERSITY HELD BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION (BPC) 2023

The Student Family Student Executive Board (BEM-KM) of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University held the 2023 Faculty of Animal Husbandry Business Plan Competition (BPC) activity (Saturday, November 4 2023). Activities are carried out online and offline with the main location at Gd AA Floor 3, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. The event was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, in this case represented by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., MP. and attended by the Chair of BEM, Chair of DPM, the jury and BPC 2023 participants.

The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) carried out a Business Plan Competition (BPC) with the theme "Create Young Entrepreneurs With Innovative and Creative Businesses In The Livestock Industry", which was attended by 13 student groups. In his remarks, the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., MP expressed his gratitude for the hard work of the committee so that the event and the objectives of BPC 2023 could be carried out. "BPC is a competition that is held nationally and periodically every year. "So this BPC is an opportunity for our students to publish and present ideas, business ideas that will be implemented and also provide support to our students to develop themselves and their personalities, especially in producing entrepreneurial-oriented products," said Dr. Sumerta.

The judges involved in the Business Plan Competition are: I Wayan Sukanata, S.Pt., M.Si. (Udayana University), Dr. Sri Mulyani, S.Pt., M.P. (Diponegoro University), and Dr. Ir. Agus Susilo, SPt, MP, IPM., ASEAN Eng (Brawijaya University). The results of the competition were announced by the winner of the 2023 NBPC participants: 1st place. Udayana University Faculty of Animal Husbandry Group 10 with a total of 664.1 points. PKM title: Cultivation of Maggots (Black Soldier Fly) as an alternative feed for livestock and optimization of organic waste processing through bioconversion technology; 2nd Place. Islamic Unity University Group 13 with a total of 663. PKM Title: Making Antiseptic Spray from Citronella Oil as a Medicine for External Wounds for Sheep; 3rd place. Diponegoro University, Group 1 with total points 631.25. PKM Title: Encapsulation of Feed Supplements from Banana Peel Waste to Increase Milk Production and Quality and Reduce the Risk of Hypocalcemia in dairy cows.
