COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR THE MASTER OF ECONOMICS STUDY PROGRAM FEB UNUD

On Friday, May 26, 2023, the Master of Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University carried out the Study Program's Community Service Activities at TPS3R & Puspa Aman Winangun Batuan, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, with the theme "Increasing Access to Information and Environmentally Friendly Technology for Empowering Women Waste Bank Managers in Traditional Villages in Denpasar City and Gianyar Regency". This activity was attended by 50 participants from Waste Bank Managers in Denpasar City and Gianyar Regency, lecturers, students, and alumni of the Master of Economics Study Program FEB Udayana University.

 

 

The Community Service (PkM) activity began with remarks from the Head of Batuan Village, who on this occasion was represented by the Secretary of Batuan Village, Mrs. Ni Nyoman Sulendri and the Coordinator of the Master of Economics Study Program, Dr. Putu Ayu Pramitha Purwanti, S.E., M.Si. who also officially opened this activity.

 

 

The activity continued with the presentation of material from the speakers guided by I Made Putra Yasa, SE, MSi as the Moderator who is an Alumni of the Master of Economics Study Program who is also an active Lecturer at FEB Unud. The first speaker in this community service activity was Mrs. Saraswati Ratnanggana S.Sos who is the Associate Manager of Media & Content of the Kopernik Bali Foundation. Followed by the presentation of material from the second resource person, Mrs. Ni Wayan Riawati, S.E., M.Si who is the Chairperson of the Bali Wastu Lestari Foundation / Secretary General of ASOBSI as well as an Alumni of the FEB Unud Master of Economics Program.

 

The material presentation ended with a discussion session as well as a sharing session for waste bank managers. The next activity was to practice waste sorting and introduce waste processing technology into compost at TPS3R & Puspa Aman Winangun Batuan.

 

 

 

The Community Service activity was continued by handing over a memento from the Coordinator of the Master of Economics Study Program to the Secretary of Batuan Village, followed by handing over certificates to resource persons and ending with a group photo session.
