ROTHSCILDI WILD ANIMAL PROFESSION INTEREST FACULTY OF VETERINARY MEDICINE UDAYANA UNIVERSITY HOLDING HERPETOLOGY WORKSHOP 2022

Sunday, December 11 2022 at the Tabanan Animal Rescue Center (ARC), Rotschildi Wildlife Profession Interest held a Herpetology Workshop with the theme Crocodile 101: Basic Introduction. The workshop was hosted by Master of Ceremonies (MC) Jessica Anabel Rusli from Rotschildi Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Udayana University (FVM UNUD). The event was opened with remarks and prayers from the chairman of the committee Alvian Cahya Ramadhan, then continued with remarks from the chairman of the Rothschildi Adithya Fauzan and the Rothschildi advisor Dr. drh. I Wayan Batan, M.S.

The event begins with the distribution of groups, each group will be supervised by ARC keepers, Bli Komang and Bli Samson. The program continued with the Feeding and Cleaning session. In this session, participants were invited to feed and clean animal cages at ARC such as eagles, goats, sun bears, and others.

The event continued with Handling, Restraint, Sexing, and Crocodile Blood Sampling sessions which were guided by the workshop resource person, namely Dr. drh. Slamet Raharjo, M.P from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Gadjah Mada University (FVM UGM) and drh. Dyah Ayu Risdasari Tiyar Noviarinni from ARC. In this session, several participants who successfully answered the questions will be given the opportunity to practice in this session.

Before the event ended, bonding activities were held between participants. The event ended with a joint photo documentation session by all participants, committee and resource persons. The Rothschildi Herpetology Workshop 2022 went smoothly and successfully.
