Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University holds a Judiciary and Inauguration of Veterinarians in October 2022

 

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM Unud) held a Judiciary and Inauguration of Veterinarians in 2022, Thursday (13/10/2022). The event was held offline at the Grand Shanti Hotel, Jalan Patih Jelantik Denpasar. Implementation of this event by implementing strict COVID-19 prevention protocols. The Judicial and Inauguration activities were attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, Study Program Coordinators, Unit Heads, Heads of Laboratories, Sub-Coordinators in the Unud FVM Environment. Head of the Unud Veterinary Alumni Association, Head of the Bali Agricultural Quarantine Center, Representative of the Head of the Denpasar Veterinary Center, Head of Denpasar Agricultural Technology Study Center, Representative of the Head of Denpasar Excelent Livestock Breeding Center, representatives of the Head of the Bali Province Agriculture Service, Head of the Agriculture and Food Service Office of Kab. Badung, Representative of the Head of Animal Health Division of Denpasar City Agriculture Office, Representative of PT. Charoen Pockpand, PT, Wonokoyo. The number of graduates who attended were: 12 Veterinarian Graduates and 33 Veterinary Bachelor Graduates.

 

The event began with the reading of a prayer represented by Ni Putu Eka Nadi which was then continued with the report of the Deputy Dean for Academic and Planning FVM Dr. drh. I Gusti Ngurah Sudisma, M.Si.. Dr. Sudisma said that the number of judicial participants consisted of 55 undergraduates, 12 professional programs, and 33 undergraduate programs. Until now, the number of graduates from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Udayana is 2648 people. The highest GPA for the veterinary profession program is 3.78 and the lowest is 3.39 with an average of 3.60. Based on the length of study, veterinary profession, graduating on time (4 semesters) is 100%. The highest GPA for the undergraduate veterinary program is 3.89, the lowest GPA is 3.15 and the average GPA is 3.67. Based on the length of study for the undergraduate veterinary program, 90% of the time is 8 semesters, 3.33% for 10 semesters, 3.33% for 14 semesters and 3.33% for 16 semesters.

 

 

The event continued with the inauguration and swearing-in of a veterinarian by the Dean. At the time of taking the oath, the veterinarians were accompanied by clergy from each religion adhered to by the sworn veterinarians, including the clergy of Hindu, Muslim, Catholic, and Protestant religions. The reading of the code of ethics for the veterinarian profession was carried out after the inauguration and oath of veterinarians were read out by the head of the Indonesian Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA) of Bali (Prof. Dr. Drh. I Ketut Puja, M.kes). The event then continued with the submission of transcripts and graduation medals by the Dean, accompanied by the chair of the senate, vice deans and study program coordinators.

The Dean of FVM Unud congratulated the judiciary participants for being able to complete their education well. Prof. Suartha also conveyed a message to the judiciary participants and their families, namely "veterinarians to carry out their professions by adhering to the oath and code of ethics for veterinarians., For undergraduate students of veterinary medicine who are graduated to continue to the veterinary profession program.".

 

 

The event was continued with speeches and messages from representatives of the judiciary participants, drh. Deo Laoda Putra, S.KH. express gratitude for the knowledge and experience that has been given as well as the facilities in achieving all of that to the academic community of FVM Unud. The event continued with remarks and impressions of messages from representatives of the parents of the judiciary participants. Representatives of the parents of graduates expressed their gratitude to Udayana University, especially FVM Unud, for guiding and educating our children patiently so that they can achieve graduation well. Veterinary graduates are expected to be able to apply their knowledge to the community diligently and with full commitment. The graduation ceremony for veterinary graduates and the inauguration of veterinarians went smoothly. The event ended with a group photo (O.).
