The Deputy Governor of Bali Opens the Bhagavad-gita National Seminar at Udayana University

Denpasar - Monday (11/19), at the Meeting Room of Dr. A. A. Made Djelantik, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, was held the Bhagavad-gita National Seminar which took the theme "Bhagavad-gita as Forming Characters for Communities in National and State Life".

The purpose of this seminar is to improve the quality of human resources, beliefs and spiritual knowledge especially for the younger generation of Hindus, to introduce the values ​​and spiritual teachings of Bhagavad-gita in shaping the personalities of people and nations with spiritual insight.

The seminar was attended by participants from various circles, including academics, government, religious leaders, pesraman, and the general public. The seminar was held with full support from Udayana University, Bali Regional Leaders Association of Hindu Dharma Students (KMHDI), and the Udayana University Hindu Dharma Student Brotherhood Forum (FPMHD-Unud). The speaker at this seminar was Director General of Hindu Bimas of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia Prof. Dr. Ketut Widnya, MA., M.Phil, Ph.D., Chairperson of PHDI Central Daily Executive Maj. Gen. TNI (Ret.) Wisnu Bawa Tenaya, President of World Hindu Parisad Drs. I Made Mangku Pastika, M.M., and Chair of the ISKCON Association Nengah Wijana, S.T. This seminar is a moment to echo the universal spirit of Bhagavad-Gita to Hindus in particular, and to the public in general. (HM).
