ORIENTATION PROGRAM GoBali 70 FOREIGN STUDENT FOLLOWED 'WELCOME CEREMONY'

Jimbaran - Faculty of Tourism Udayana University held a Welcome Ceremony GoBali Program, Tuesday (04/03/2018) in National Space Rectorate Building Bukit Jimbaran Campus. The GoBali program was attended by 70 foreign students consisting of 68 students from Germany and 2 from Austria.

Go Bali Program Coordinator Faculty of Tourism Udayana University, I Made Kusuma said that Welcome Ceremony aims to introduce Unud Campus to foreign students. This introductory program will last for two days that filled with a glimpse of Udayana University and an explanation of the culture of the local community on the first day, and explanations related to Visas and activities to be undertaken while in Bali as well as presentation of materials on Tropical Diseases on Tourism and Project Presentation on the second day. GoBali program will last for one semester with the implementation of lectures at the Building GoBali.

The lecture system is conducted almost the same as the local students that is 14 times a meeting, but the lectures fully use English. Kusuma hopes that this activity can be useful through the alignment of activities in the faculty with the GoBali program so that the interaction between local students and foreign students takes place.

Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Dr. Drs. I Nyoman Sunarta, M.Si hopes that the number of foreign students which is studying at the Faculty of Tourism can motivate the students of the regular program to collaborate and be motivated to study abroad, thus increasing the faculty's potential. For that the activities undertaken in the faculty will be coupled with GoBali activities so that students Faculty of Tourism more potential to compete in the global world. (PR)
